Fentanyl & Counterfeit Pill Awareness

Welcome to our nonprofit organization. Together we can make a difference in the lives of others.

Our Mission

The Dylan Moore Foundation is committed to raising fentanyl and counterfeit pill awareness in memory of Dylan Moore, who tragically lost his life at the age of 19. We strive to honor his legacy by fostering prevention through education, reducing the stigma around mental health, and providing resources to support individuals and families impacted by these issues. Through advocacy, outreach, and community engagement, we aim to create a world where open conversations and access to care are the norm, helping others avoid the struggles that Dylan faced and ensuring that no one faces these battles alone.

Dylan’s Story

Dylan Moore was a vibrant, kind-hearted 19-year-old with a passion for life. He loved making music, always finding joy in expressing himself through his creativity. His energy was contagious—whether he was jamming out on his own lyrics and beats or sharing a goofy dance to make his friends and family laugh, Dylan had a way of bringing smiles wherever he went. His laughter was a light in the room, and his spirit was one of warmth, fun, and endless possibility.

On 5/15/2022, Dylan’s life was tragically cut short by a counterfeit drug that he never saw coming. He took half of what he thought was a Percocet, a pill he believed to be harmless. In reality, it was a fake pill laced with pure fentanyl. Within moments, Dylan’s life was taken from us. His bright future, filled with smiles, goofy dances and laughter, was stolen by the hidden dangers of the fentanyl epidemic.

Dylan’s story is not just a tragic loss, it’s a wake-up call. Every year, thousands of young lives like Dylan’s are cut short by the dangers of fentanyl. What seemed like a simple mistake ended in unimaginable heartbreak for his family and friends.

Through the Dylan Moore Foundation, we honor his memory by raising awareness about the dangers of fentanyl and the devastating consequences of counterfeit drugs. Dylan’s love for life and his infectious joy continue to inspire us to take action and fight for a future where no one else has to experience the pain of losing a loved one to this preventable tragedy.

Know The Dangers of Social Media

6/23/25 we stood beside Dylan on Capitol Hill to raise awareness. Dylan was with 245 other children who have been affected by the harms of social media.

Dylan purchased what he believed to be a Percocet through Snapchat; however, the pill was entirely fentanyl, which tragically claimed his life. Social media has been a heartbreaking factor in each of these cases, contributing to the tragic loss of our children.

There needs to be change. Change can only happen with awareness. We will always make sure Dylan’s voice is heard.
