Who we are
The Dylan Moore Foundation was founded in the wake of a heartbreaking tragedy—the loss of Dylan Moore, at only 19 years old tragically died from an accidental overdose. Dylan, like many young people, thought he was taking a legitimate Percocet pill but unknowingly consumed a counterfeit pill laced with fentanyl, a powerful synthetic opioid. His death serves as a painful reminder of the dangers posed by counterfeit drugs and the growing fentanyl crisis, which has claimed countless young lives.
We are a nonprofit organization committed to raising awareness about the lethal threat of fentanyl and counterfeit pills. Our mission is to educate communities about the dangers of drug misuse, offer resources to families affected by substance abuse, and advocate for stronger prevention measures to keep our youth safe. The foundation is dedicated to preventing further tragedies like Dylan's by spreading critical information about how easily young people can be exposed to life-threatening drugs that are often disguised as something safe.
At the heart of the Dylan Moore Foundation is Dylan’s legacy. We are not just a foundation—we are a community of individuals and families coming together to fight against the deadly impact of fentanyl and counterfeit pills. Our goal is to make sure that no other family has to go through the pain of losing a loved one due to a preventable overdose.
Together, we can raise awareness, make informed choices, and work toward a future where the epidemic of counterfeit pills and fentanyl overdoses is no longer a constant threat to our children, friends, and loved ones. We are dedicated to Dylan's memory and to the safety of everyone, especially the youth, who deserve a future free from the danger of counterfeit drugs.
